Since 1948, McCrone Research Institute has sponsored the Inter/Micro symposium. Now celebrating its 60th anniversary, this week-long meeting offers presentations on all aspects of microscopy, methods and materials. The 2008 Inter/Micro conference will span 5 days, July 7-11th. The first three days will consist of a symposium to be held at the Millennium Knickerbocker Hotel featuring daily presentations.

Most of our attendees feel that Inter/Micro is the best conference they attend all year due to the quality of the content in the multidisciplinary technical papers, the experts in all areas of microscopy that regularly attend, and the personal atmosphere of the entire meeting.

The Inter/Micro 2008 ‘Evening with Brian’ and 60th Anniversary Cruise on Lake Michigan

In honor of the 60th anniversary of Inter/Micro, the Celebration (an elegant four season charter boat from Shoreline Sightseeing) has been reserved for our annual Evening with Brian.

The Inter/Micro 2008 Photomicrography Contest
We would like to invite you to submit up to three of your photomicrographs taken using any microscopy technique (darkfield, brightfield, fluorescence, interference contrast, polarized light, SEM, etc.) to the 2008 Inter/Micro Photomicrography Competition

The Inter/Micro 2008 Workshops
There will be two (2) full-day workshops during Inter/Micro 2008. Both will be conducted in the laboratories and classrooms of McCrone Research Institute, 2820 S. Michigan Avenue, Chicago. Class size is limited, so please register early. Click here for topics and registration information.
