Advanced Indoor Air Quality: Identification of Fungal Cultures (1632)
COURSE OUTLINE & SYLLABUS
Culturing fungi is essential in order to identify fungi to the species level. The course will cover media, culture methods, spore identification and viable sampling methods. Emphasis is on the fungi that relate to indoor air quality and human health.
The class is appropriate for aerobiologists, industrial hygiemsts, air quality specialists and clinical mycologists, among others.
Prerequisite: Course 1630 or equivalent
